Golf and Google
I’ve joined a golf club located in Essex Junction, called the Links at Lang Farm. It is an executive course, which seems to be a good place for a starting golfer… For the past two weeks I’ve been working with the Pro there, Jesse Osbourne and will be wrapping up some basic lessons next week. So far so good… I won’t be a “good” golfer for years to come, but at least this year I’ll have the foundations under me…
I think the break even point on the club membership is something along the lines of 30 rounds of golf… Well Geetha has pretty much ordained that if I don’t golf that many times, there will be NO future memberships… :-) I think her goal is to get me off my butt and at least moving… May not be considered “real” excercise, but at least I’ll be walking around the course…
Not sure if any of you are familiar with the maps feature at google.com, or that they’ve recently added satellite imagery, if not you should check it out it’s really interesting… Here’s a shot of the golf course where I play: Links at Lang Farm.
